You’ve seen the pictures, heard the stories, watched the amazing footage in a movie or TV show.
But then you look around and nobody seems to know any climbers, and you haven’t a clue where to begin.
Our Adult Beginner Course is a great way to get introduced to the sport and make friends.
About the Adult Beginner Course
Canberra Indoor Rock Climbing is thrilled to be able to introduce you to the newest Olympic sport through our adult beginner course. The course is aimed at anyone new to climbing, or for people who have been climbing for a little while and want to hone their skills.
The course will cover:
- The basics of climbing safety
- How to safely and effectively train as newbies
- Climbing techniques
- Overcoming fears
The four-part course time varies.
Each week we will alternate locations between Mitchell and Hume so climbers can experience both facilities, developing their skills and styles.
Each climber will receive a one-month pass that includes gear. You will have access to both facilities so you can put into practice what you’ve learned in coaching sessions.
As part of your development, there will be a light to medium strength program during these sessions or as “homework” to help you develop your body for the course activities.
$180 per person
