Our friendly Dynoing for Drought Relief Pumpfest was a success, with a great community turn out and all entry categories filled with eager climbers. Through competition entries, our silent auction, and direct donations, we raised $1,167.70 for Rural Aid!
Rural Aid is an organisation that understands that the drought and it’s effects are a multifaceted issue and offers individualised help to farming communities. Some of their initiatives include donating fodder for livestock, replacing lost livestock, sending volunteer workers to assist with farm operations, bringing music education to children, and mental health counselling.
We’d also like to extend a big thank you to the Molonglo Brigade of the Rural Fire Service for coming out to teach people about bushfire safety.
