Please join us at Mitchell on Thursday, December 3rd from 6pm-9pm and enjoy a fun night on our Tension Board to raise funds for Climbers Against Cancer! The comp has been organised by our own local legends Cait Horan and Kale McCauley. There will be prizes! (TBA)
Registration
Competition entry will be $10 (which will be donated to CAC), plus standard entry if you are not a member. Competitors must register and pay in advance due to COVID-19, and payment is non-refundable. This will help us manage our capacity and get people to commit to their spots. There will be a maximum of 25 entries total across all categories (see categories below). To register, please contact the Mitchell gym at canrock@grapevine.com.au, or 02 6262 4863. We can take payment in person, over the phone, or via bank transfer. When registering, please let us know what category you would like to enter into.

Membership/10-vist pass holder: $10
Concession non-member: $22 total ($10 for comp rego + $12 for concession bouldering)

Categories
Open A Men (V3 and up)
Open A Women (V3 and up)
Open B, any gender (V0-V2, novices, first time on Tension Board, etc.)
Format/Schedule
Entrants in the Open B category will begin around 6-6:15pm at V0. From V0-V2 everyone has 3 lives total. Once you fail 3 times you are out. You must climb a problem at each grade to move onto the next grade. The problem at each grade will be set by the organiser and will be the same for everyone.
Open As will join any remaining novice climbers around 7-7:15pm at V3 level. Everyone gets 3 more lives for V3-V5. Again, you must climb a problem at each grade to move onto the next grade. From V6 and up, all remaining participants get 4 minutes to send each problem.
Spectators
We will be happy to have spectators at the competition, however, please understand that we still have a maximum capacity of 55 people in our gyms due to COVID-19. People who are coming into the gym to climb will have priority over anyone who is there just to observe, and if we need the space, please understand that you may be asked to leave.
